This used to be a lovely cinema. It isn't now. Just another poor facility in Ayr. I feel really sorry for the staff because I am sure they try but you can only do so much without the top assisting.

Good location, iconic old building! Great staff. Screens are older and smaller, but pictures are sharper and clearer than most larger screens. Brilliant for 3D movies. Car park could be bigger and some screens have a fire exit light annoying bright and close to the screen.

The staff were super friendly but cinema itself could be doing with an upgrade. Paint job on the outside and cinema itself needs updated with new seats or at least new seat covers. We had premium seats and they were comfy enough for the long film we went ro see

Staff are always very friendly and helpful. Only negative is the fact that odeon don't seem to stock crisps in there snack section. We usually op for the nachos which they do have but it would be good to be able to buy crisps as well as sweets.

I visited here on Tuesday night, my first time in so long. I soon found out I was the only person at the screening for Megan at 5pm...so I had the entire cinema theatre to myself which has never happened before. How very VIP lol I had a great night.

Two adult seats for £10 on a Friday night, unbeatable value. Place is shabby in bits, and out of date, but once your in watching the film it's fine. Snack and food choice on site a bit limited (and, as usual for cinemas, quite dear), but just take your stuff with you. Hope they keep this one open when the new cinema opens in Ayr, and do a bit of TLC on it, it’s a good alternative for those who don't want or like the busy, hi tech, glitzy, in your face, overwhelming nature of modern multiplexes, but want a low key option that doesn't burst your wallet for the sake of a couple of hours at the pictures. It is old fashioned in that sense, but we like it for that. Oh and the staff were great!

The range of films is very wide and some are good. The staff at the Odeon are very helfull and nice. The seating is not always the most comfortable and the volume at films is not always right. It was at times too low and you really have too concentrate or miss out on key discussions etc. Anyway they are going to investigate this matter.

Screen 1 - seats very uncomfortable. Movie was great but staff left doors to screening room open and some if the lights on which affected the viewing quality for us. Fil. Was however very good and worth the discomfort. Smaller screening rooms are far more comfortable.
